I found this if anyone else is pregnant and wondering about herbs and essential oils/teas. Also has a link to aromatherapy and pregnancy.

First of all Congratulations! What wonderful news.

As far of the use of herbs in spell craft  goes it probably won't be an issue unless you are ingesting them or burning them as incense in which case there are a number of herbs you should treat with extreme caution and quite a few more you should be careful with.

Also you need to exercise caution when it comes to essential oils.

This link give you a very comprehensive list of herbs and oils to be careful with.

http://www.pregnancy.org/article/herbs-avoid-during-pregnancy

I used herbs and essential oils through each of my pregnancies and labours with great success. Used with caution they can be of immense help to support you and your baby during this time. Again, there should be no reason to avoid the use of herbs in spell craft but possibly it might be wise to apply the same caution that you would with herbs to ingest during this time.

I hope this helps.

Blessings

Ps Looking over the list of oils I noticed that Clary Sage was missing - this one is great for labour but must be avoided during the whole of the first and second trimesters and at least the first half of the third and used minimally and with caution if you do use it.

Hi all, was wondering if you all could help with advice. Can you still use herbs whilst pregnant? I'm 11 weeks and haven't done any spell work for some time but was planning to within the next week. I use herbs a lot in my spell work but just wondered.

Thanks,

DragonRose x
